War Weekend 2017

This is a busy weekend for Pickering.

13th, 14th and 17th October 2017.

The car parks are full of trade stands selling 1940's clothing and memrobilia, hairdresser, food, drinks, toilets.  Hopefully we will have music and dancing, there may even be a bar.

Traders coming are:-

The old spoke company - John Coulson.  Prams, cycles, carts and bric a brac. 

Dragonfly - . Viv Moore. Bespoke hats and vintage clothing and accessories.

Norma Jeans - T Crane.  Vintage fashion, retro clothing and hair styling.

West riding vintage - 1940's clothes and militaria.

Debbie cade - vintage clothing.

Allen Artley - military clothing, caps and ladies fashion.

Timebomb Vintage - 1940's vintage clothing.

Kettlecorn NYC - Hand made kettlecorn.

Allen Miller - Toys, second hand books, militaria.

Dad's army - Genuine miliataria clothing and equipment, ladies 1940 style clothing shoes and accessories.

Campsite and car park.

Parking for cars, camper vans and caravans is available 500m further down the valley at  Moorland trout farms field. The only services available are water, which is located in the paddock next to this large field.  To reserve an overnight space here please sent a cheque for £30 deposit to "Moorland Trout Farms", at the address of Pickering Trout Lake, Newbridge road, Pickering.  N Yorks YO18 8JJ.  Camping is £50 for three nights.  Cars £5 per day.  For a booking form please download a form from this site..  If unable to download the form just copy the relative information onto a piece of paper and send with your cheque.

A small caravaning area will also be available at the old fishing lake, which is where the trade stands are and only a 5 minute walk to the centre of town.  Camping here will cost £100 for any three nights, with a £50 deposit.  Facilities include toilets fresh water and hard standing.
